Present Company

Present Company are four keen musicians from Brisbane, Australia with a passion for organically created music. Their unique sound is created with bass fiddle, violin, mandolin, banjo, guitar and four voices which are blended, old style, through the single microphone that the boys dance around.

Their heroes range from Bill Monroe to The Strokes and from to old time bluegrass to contemporary acoustic music; their repertoire consists of quirky original songs and tunes written by the band as well as some cover versions which may surprise. The band have been delighting festival crowds up and down Australia since 2011, and recently played to over 2000 people at the closing concert at the National Folk Festival, Canberra, after being chosen from over 200 acts.
