There are some things that can’t be put into words – although if you tried to describe Carl Wockner, the word “voice” must be involved. An “Acoustic Pop” performer has been referred to as “The man with the big hair and the golden tonsils” (Zinc FM 2012).
Currently completing his first full length album with producer Michael Flanders (Nashville, TN, USA) Carl has recently written with international songwriters such as Kim Tribble (Gary Allan, Shania Twain, Journey) and Greg Barnhill (Trisha Yearwood, Don Henley, Jessica Simpson, Etta James, Chicago, Tim McGraw, Leona Lewis) Chaise Flanders and Jenn Bostic, with who he has co-written the content for his upcoming album. Jenn Bostic, Siobhan Magnus and REDD have also featured on tracks from the album.
A finalist in the 2012 MusicOZ awards in both categories of “Acoustic Singer/Songwriter” and “Blues and Roots,” awarded “Best Male Soloist” (Scope Magazine 2012) and being named “FUTURE SUPERSTAR” featured in Business Matters Magazine (April 2013), Carl is an international artist ready to explode!.
In March 2011, world-renowned guitar brand “Maton Guitars” welcomed Carl into their register of artists.
Industry critics are predicting a very successful international launch of his NEW ALBUM “Life and Colour“ in 2014.
