There are many people looking to volunteer for this year's festival.  Unfortunately due to the sell-out status of the event we will not be able to accept everyone's help.

• First preference will be given to previous volunteers that have proven their value to us at past festivals.

• Second preference will be given to those who can assist in the week leading up to the festival and for the Monday/Tuesday afterwards.  You will need to be available during business hours for these roles.

• Third preference will be given to those who are available the entire weekend and do not care about seeing Powderfinger and the other big name acts!

We especially want volunters that can help first thing Monday morning after the event.  We have been caught out in the past though, so those who volunteer to assist post festival must purchase tickets and will then have them refunded after completing their post festival tasks.

Please note in your application the following:

• If you are willing to do any assigned task
• If you are willing to work any/all hours during the weekend.
• If you are available pre/post festival
• If you don't mind working late or starting early
• If you don't care about seeing the big headline acts
• If you are interested in working additional shifts to the mandatory 12 hours.

Think about your interests and what you are good at - but leave your options open, as there are lots of position to be filled over the festival period.

Here are examples of some of the areas in which volunteers will be required:

• Collecting tickets and issuing wrist bands
• Supervising the children's area
• Checking wristbands at entry/exit points
• General helper/runner
• Cleaning of the grounds
• Administration
• Ticket/program sales
• Festival set up and pack up
• Administering surveys
• Serving drinks in the bar
•  And much more!

SHIFTS

Volunteers are required to work at least 12 hours before, during or after the festival.  You will also be required to attend two volunteer meetings prior to the event (date and times to be confirmed).

Please note that only working volunteers can attend on Friday night. If you are not doing a shift on Friday you can not attend the festival due to the sell-out status.

REWARDS

Your efforts as a volunteers will not go unnoticed. You will receive recognition through a Caloundra Music Festival volunteer t-shirt and invitation to the official after party.

You will be provided with a festival pass, which gives you access to all ticketed venues and performances. This allows you to carry out your volunteer responsibilities and enjoy the festival in your time off.

Volunteers that do additional shifts can earn one additional weekend ticket for friends/family for every 12 hours worked. (Please note that these tickets do not include Friday night as this is sold out)
