This is the fourth annual festival and crowds have been increasing each year as the festival gains momentum and popularity. In 2009, crowds reached 5000 per day in the ticketed area and 15,000 throughout the weekend in the non-ticketed area, The Village. This year is already bigger with 8000 tickets sold for a capacity crowd on the Friday night and Saturday and Sunday predicted to do the same once further artists are announced.

The Festival is seeking expressions of interest for food stalls only within the main ticketed area. If this is you, you are in the right location to apply!
 
If you are interested in a market stall or a food stall within the free community area, The Village, then please visit the website of Village organisers, FESTURI - A Multicultural Inc.  Please note the Village runs on 9 & 10 of October only.
 
 

Food Stall Applications

Food stall holders are invited to apply for the 2010 Caloundra Music Festival.
 
Food stall applications are assessed on food type, stall size and appearance, environmentally-friendly packaging, electricity requirements, professionalism, references and previous experience.
 
Applications are for the festival’s ticketed area only. 
 
You must be the registered and licensed owner and principal operator of the stall for the duration of the festival, including set up and pack down.
 
Applications must be completed in full with all requested information attached. To be considered, applications must be received by 30 July 2010.
 

Selection Process

Our criteria for selection are:
  1. Preparedness to follow these guidelines
  2. Variety, quality and attractiveness of menu and food presentation.
  3. Stall presentation.
  4. Must hold appropriate licenses and insurances.
  5. Must meet all safety and WH&S requirements
  6. Level of professionalism and experience.
  7. Commitment to fresh and authentic cuisine.
  8. Environmentally aware food presentation.
  9. Previous performance, presentation and attitude at our events.
Please ensure you include a thorough and detailed description of your stall. Feel free to attach photos to assist with your application.
Some stalls may not be accepted for reasons of duplication.  This does not imply however, that you will be the only vendor selling your products. Please note that we have many applications and some quality applications may be unsuccessful. 
 
All applicants will be notified by 21 August 2010.  If successful, you will receive a stallholders information pack and you will be required to make payment within 2 weeks.  Please be advised that all decisions made are final and are at the discretion of the Festival Team.
 
 

APPLICATION PROCESS

To apply, please ensure you follow these steps:
  1. Thoroughly read through the terms and conditions and ensure you understand/agree prior to applying.
  2. Complete all sections of form.
  3. Keep a copy of your application form.
  4. Post application form and all relevant information to the Festival Office, including:
    • Photos of your site
    • Full list of products to be sold
    • Diagram of food stall drawn to scale
    • Copy of your current Public Liability Insurance policy
    • Copy of relevant food permit/s from Sunshine Coast Regional Council (please contact Customer Service for more information 07 5475 7272)
    • Workers Compensation Details
