Terms & Conditions
'You' and 'your' refers to the customer. 'We', 'us', 'our' and event organiser refers to Caloundra Music Festival/Sunshine Coast Regional Council (ABN 37 876 973 913). This 'agreement' means these terms and conditions and any other conditions specified by us on our booking form.
All tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable except in accordance with the applicable laws in the region of purchase.
This is an all weather event – the festival will continue in rain, hail or shine unless the conditions are deemed unsafe to continue. No refunds will be made if you choose not to attend due to inclement weather.
Festival organisers reserve the right to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute artists and may vary advertised programs, prices and venues. No refunds will be made in this case.
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone the festival for any reason.
There will be no refund on any unused portion of tickets if you or your invitees are asked or forced to leave or if you decide not to attend any part of the Festival.
Youth ticketholders must present proof of age and Pension ticket holders must present pension cards on entry to the festival (seniors cards are not accepted for Pension card-holder tickets).
Age of child is determined at the date of the festival not at the purchase date.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible guardian at all times.\
No alcohol or illicit drugs are to be brought into the festival site.
The whole venue is a glass free zone and no glass shall be brought into any part of the venue including the car parks.
No eskys, umbrellas, shade tents, animals (except in accordance with legislation), fire/fireworks, video cameras or professional cameras are permitted on the festival site. Audio or visual recordings of the event are prohibited. Still cameras (not professional) are permitted but images may only be used for private purposes and not public display. Patrons offer consent to be included in film and sound recordings of the event and for these recordings to be used by the event organiser.
Chairs may be brought into the venue but must be kept in the back half of the park.
Patrons may only smoke in Designated Outdoor Smoking Areas. No food or drink is to be consumed in these areas.
CMF promotes responsible service of alcohol. Patrons not adhering to RSA rules may be evicted or refused entry to the licensed area and/or festival venue.
Liquor Licensing laws apply and children under 18 are not permitted in licensed areas.
Refunds will not be provided for any unused drink tickets.
Some smaller venues at CMF have limited capacity. Patrons will be refused entry once capacity is reached – until such time as patrons inside the venue leave.
Ticket to be redeemed at gate for wrist band in order to gain entry and re-entry. Wrist band must be worn for duration of the festival. Broken wrist bands will not be honoured.
Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced in any way or are not purchased through an authorised point of sale.
The right is reserved to charge a fee for the replacement of tickets.
The right of admission is reserved and is subject to the event organiser and the venues terms of admission.
It is a condition of entry that you submit to a search of person or possessions on entry to the venue if we decide to take such action.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability of any nature for the acts, omissions or default of those providing services in connection with ‘Caloundra Music Festival’ or any liability for any injury, damage, loss, delay or additional expenses which are incurred at or in association with this event. Where legislation implies any condition or warranty which cannot be excluded or modified, that condition or warranty will be deemed to be included in this agreement. However, our liability for any breach of such condition or warranty will be limited, at our option, to the resupply of the services or the cost of having the services supplied again. In no event will we be liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary or special damages.
You acknowledge that neither we nor the venue will be responsible for any loss or damage to the property (including personal property such as bags, money or other personal items) brought to or purchased at the event by you or your invitees.
You will be liable for any loss or damage caused at the event by you or your invitees.
You must ensure that you and your invitees act in an orderly manner when attending the event. We may refuse entry or evict you or any of your invitees if they are behaving in a disorderly, offensive or inappropriate manner.
Pursuant to your booking, we may need to collect and keep personal information about you including your name, address, credit card or payment details, telephone number and the names of all ticket allocations. We may need to disclose your personal information as required by law or as permitted under the Privacy Act. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we will handle your personal information.
Be waste and water wise. ‘Caloundra Music Festival’ cares for the environment and community. Please be respectful and place any litter in the bins provided around the venue. Please respect our town and neighbours and do not create excessive noise or litter while travelling to and from the festival.
This agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
