Queensland boys BUSBY MAROU have forged a reputation as one of the hardest working musical acts in Australia. This hard work has paid off as they have now confirmed theirs as one of the most exciting live shows around. Tom Busby and Jeremy Marou have created a completely unique vibe based on Tom’s everyman’s approach to story telling interspersed with Jeremy’s guitar virtuosity.

They sell out shows everywhere from Surry Hills to Mt Isa and have an incredibly loyal and diverse following. The boys have an shared the stage with an impressive list of support tours including the likes of Dolly Parton, James Blunt, Passenger, KD Lang, The Beach Boys, The Zac Brown Band  and Ed Sheeran.

Also big favourites on the Australian summer festival circuit listed as highlights recently at Bluesfest, Queenscliff and Woodford. Their second album “Farewell Fitzroy” debuted at #5 on the National ARIA charts and #12 on the official New Zealand charts. This follows a debut album achieving certified GOLD status in Australia and included the single “Biding My Time” which took out the APRA award for Blues and Roots song of the year and came in at number 81 on Triple J’s hottest 100.

Most recently, their single, ‘Days of Gold’ picked up the ARPA Award for Blues & Roots work of the year 2016. Busby Marou are currently putting the final touches on album #3 which is due for release later this year.

“The overwhelming feeling that emanates from BUSBY MAROU is joy. The voices and close harmonies are as clear as Queensland sunshine, and the acoustic guitar playing is both accomplished and expressive”
