A hurricane of harp engulfed in an unconventional love affair with a loop pedal. Timelessness romanticized with technology. ELSKA is a mould breaker and heart taker who is unapologetically pop. Looping hook-filled harp melodies with percussive harp beats, Gold Coast artist ELSKA is a one-woman-band full of sass and charisma – telling tales of cheaters and liars, romantic revenge, and finding love in a peculiar place.
Commanding attention for her unconventional live performance with a harp, ELSKA has just wrapped up a string of successful shows for BLEACH* Festival, in partnership with the prestigious Gold Coast XXI COMMONWEALTH GAMES Festival 2018 program. She has been a featured artist on music platforms Sofar Sounds, Balcony TV, and Six8; and recently supported Irish soul-man Andrew Strong, in his 25th anniversary tour of ‘The Commitments’.
ELSKA’s forthcoming singles and debut EP are also set for release in late 2018. The nostalgic pop EP was a creative collaboration with prominent UK producer, Dan Swift (Passenger, Snow Patrol) and was recorded at Brighton Electric Studios, UK.
ELSKA is authentically unconventional. A hurricane of husky sass you can’t box in, quite figure out, or ever forget.
She is the best cup of nostalgia you ever dared to sip.
