The Floating Bridges create an infectious blend of rock and roots music, encapsulating life’s experiences and delivering messages of peace, love and unity. The Sunshine Coast 6 piece are renowned for their energetic and passionate live performances, enthralling crowds across Australia and the world and bringing people together since their formation in 2009.
6 years on and 2015 was no exception to the rule, with the coastal boys taking their music far and wide, performing over 20 shows in the UK, including huge summer festivals like Boomtown Fair and Secret Garden Party. On the back of releasing their 2nd independent album ‘Creatures of Leisure,’ The Floating Bridges also ignited audiences at Australia’s premiere festivals including Big Pineapple and Woodford Folk Festival.
2016 see’s the return of bass player Rohan Nitschke, freeing up front man Cale Fisher to release his energetic and captivating vocals onto the audience. The ‘Bridges’ have been writing new music that is set to be released in late 2016 alongside a full scale national tour.
