“Opening with a tear-stained violin… this is a delicate, defining musical tale.” Tone Deaf, The Home Of Australian Music.
“The Reversals will touch everyone who takes the time to get to know their music.” Clint Morrow, Heavy & Weird.
“As soon as I heard the sorrowful violin I knew this was going to be a great song. Twenty listens later that is still just as true. And that’s just the beginning……” Jubster, Triple J Unearthed SuperUser.
The inspiration to form The Reversals was seeded while Nathanael was working as an assistant sound engineer for a number of successful Australian artists including Bernard Fanning and Pete Murray as well as notable producers Anthony Lycenko and Mark Opitz.
During this time, with exposure to great Australian talent, Nathanael was motivated to step out from behind the desk, pick up his instruments and focus on his true passions, songwriting and live performance.
‘Michelle’ is the second single from the soon to be released mini album, and with the writing of their debut long play album already under way, 2013 looks to be a promising one for this emerging band with national and international appeal.
