Zoophyte's eclectic blend of roots, funk and rock has seen their emergence as one of the most progressive, exciting bands to evolve from Melbourne's burgeoning indie scene. If you have been keeping track, Zoophyte had a pretty major 2007 releasing their album ‘Another Point Of View’ in August then spending the best part of 5 months touring OZ.  They were hailed as bright new things, the new purveyors of funk/roots in towns’ large and small playing festivals around the nation such as Apollo Bay, Caloundra, Indie Fest in Perth and supporting Evermore at Make Poverty History in Ballina.
